Villa Rizzo Masseria della Nocciola is located in a charming corner of Campania, nestled in a 12-hectare garden of hazelnut, olive, orange and lotus trees.
From the very moment you enter the property along the treed lane, you are enveloped in peace and quiet.
The villa is in the Municipality of San Cipriano Picentino, which is also the location of the Monte Picentini Park and in the midst of history, archaeology, sea and countryside. From the villa, it is easy to reach Paestum, Velia, the Cilento, the Padula Carthusian Monastery, Pompeii, Vesuvius, the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Ischia, Salerno and Naples in less than one hour.
Our resort consists of three buildings: the Villa (the former manor-house), the Casa Rosata (once the farmhouse) and the most recent building, which was once a tobacco house.
Come in and begin your journey, amidst the perfume of orange flowers in the spring, the lush green of hazelnut trees in the summer, the scent of freshly-pressed olive oil, the red of lotus leaves in the autumn and the elegance, warmth and cordiality extended to you by our family year round.
You will have the pleasure of walking through the park, letting yourself be carried away by the sound of water from the brook and fountains, stopping to enjoy the shade beneath a hazelnut tree... For those more sports inclined, there is the possibility for a mountain-bike ride, trekking in the surrounding woods or horseback riding. And, when you return, you will be able to relax in the open-air sitting-area alongside the pool, sipping a delightful glass of wine or a fresh-fruit shake.
For those interested in history and archaeology, the region's most interesting sites are right at hand and, for those who love the sea, the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento Coast are only a short drive away.
