Salerno

Salerno

Located in the northern end of the Amalfi Coast, its name derives from the gulf which it overlooks. In the heart of the city, you can visit its ancient Medieval historic centre, whose main street, Via Mercanti, still preserves the typical narrow streets, epoch buildings and religious architecture.

What to see to Salerno

Our suggestions are the Duomo with its museum, the Archeological Museum in the monumental complex of San Benedetto and the sea-side promenade Trieste with its XVIII century quarter, the Giuseppe Verdi Theatre and the Arechi Castle.
